The Nevada NCED presented a session on the Nevada Employment Summit, with participation of John Butterworth (Institute for Community Inclusion) Rosemary Melarkey (Nevada Developmental Services) as well as Santa Perez from People First Nevada. The AUCD conference was in Washington, DC Nov 1-3.

For about 35 students with disabilities in Las Vegas, last week was extremely busy. The teenagers attended the 5-day intensive CRAVE camp designed to help them tackle the future of their choosing.

The closing of the two-day Elko Employment Summit marked the end of the statewide 2010 Employment Summit.
