NCED participates in Public Awareness Collaboration Events. The Nevada Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (NGCDD), in collaboration with the Medicaid Infrastructure Grant (MIG) program and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program in Nevada hosted public awareness events in Elko, Pahrump, Las Vegas and Sparks. The mission of these events is to “bring together public and private services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities in one location”. The NCED together with members of our sponsored projects; Youth Transition and People First were present for all four events throughout the state.
