ADA Nevada provides training, technical assistance and consulting services regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). As Project Coordinator Scott Youngs provides training to people with various disabilities,state and local government agencies including school districts, community colleges and Universities, and public and private employers. It also assists the business community in understanding their responsibilities under the law and strives to improve overall access in communities throughout the region.

The project acts as the State Affiliate of the DBTAC: Pacific ADA Center. The Pacific DBTAC is one of 10 Centers across the country that assists with the implementation of the ADA.  It also provides a quarterly newsletter (Fall 2009 Newsletter PDF Version, Word Version) with news and updates regarding the ADA.
